What Amenities Are Offered?
GHOST is an exceptionally well-maintained Hunt yacht, designed for safety and comfort. The navigation helm includes GPS, chart-plotter, RADAR, and stereo. Your comfort with immaculately clean quarters (bed), head (bathroom) and cushioned seating surrounded by teak is what you would expect from a five-star hotel. You are welcome to bring food and beverages aboard, or you may request your Captain take you to a waterfront restaurant.
What To Wear And Bring?
Cape Cod is well-known for having one of the best summer climates in the world. We are blessed to have an abundance of sunshine and warm, comfortable days. It is usually slightly cooler on the water so we recommend that you bring layers of clothing such as jackets or sweaters so that you are comfortable throughout your cruise. Non-marking boat shoes (like Sperry’s) are highly recommended. You may also want to bring binoculars, hat, and sunscreen (no spray suntan lotion please). And don’t forget the camera! Though your Captain will be happy to take photos of you and your guests, a camera is a must-have item for all of the amazing sights!
The Forecast Says There Is A Chance Of Rain. Will It Rain On My Charter?
The time and date of your cruise is scheduled after careful review of the weather forecast to avoid having your special day rained on. In most instances, if there is a chance thunderstorms will be passing through during your cruise, your Captain will suggest moving the time and/or day of your cruise. If you are out in the middle of your cruise and inclement weather should arise, your Captain will make every effort to stop at a nearby restaurant or waterfront dock so you can dine or shop while the weather passes.
What Happens If There Is Bad Weather?
Cancellations due to weather are at the discretion of the Captain. In the unlikely event your cruise must be cancelled due to inclement weather, because of unfavorable or unsafe weather/ocean conditions, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule.
Booking Your Vessel
When you have determined the most convenient date for your cruise, call the Captain directly so you can customize your cruise to your exact specifications. Based on your requests on what you want to experience and where you want to go, your Captain will provide suggestions based on the season, scheduled water events, and weather and tide forecasts. Once your cruise is planned to your specifications, your Captain will forward you the proposed itinerary and the Charter Contract for your signature. When you return the signed Charter Contract to the Captain with any changes on your itinerary, he will call you to book your cruise guaranteeing your vessel for the time, date and duration you have specified. Details on the cancellation policy are outlined in the Charter Contract.

Must Reservations Be Made In Advance?
Though reservations are not required, the further out you plan your cruise for a specified date, the more likelihood GHOST will be available. And, the more time you allow for planning your cruise with the Captain, the more detail can be incorporated into your cruise to ensure all of your specifications are met. However, in those instances where you are just in town for a couple of days, a one-day notice will suffice provided GHOST is available.
